Description
Founded in 1729 along the Chesapeake Bay, Deary City would become the nation's premier industrial and shipping hub and capital of the State of Deary. The city would prosper for much of its early history until an economic downturn in the 1970’s would lead the city to a continued path of decline. Today the city enjoys a lively downtown positioned along the bay surrounded by dense downtown cores of crime and decay. In 2010 the city would purchase nearby farmland on its border, the land since the annexation has locally been referred to as “The Outskirts” and provide a contrasting rural feel to the dense city.
