The Zenin Clan (禪院家, Zen'in Ke) is one of the three great sorcerer families (the "Big Three") in the jujutsu world, standing alongside the Gojo and Kamo clans. With roots stretching back over a millennium—likely to the Heian Era, the golden age of jujutsu—the clan has long held immense influence through its mastery of powerful inherited cursed techniques, strategic alliances, and sheer combat strength. The Zenin Clan is a combat-oriented noble house where leadership and respect are granted solely based on raw power and the possession of exceptional cursed techniques. Those in control value and prioritize strength above all else, maintaining their elite status historically by recruiting or incorporating jujutsu sorcerers with potent abilities into the family bloodline. Inherited cursed techniques are revered as the ultimate measure of worth, leading the clan to ostracize, reject, or abuse even their own blood relatives who fall short of these rigid standards.
