Description

English A Joseon Dynasty helmet created with reference to surviving Dujeonggap armor associated with General Yi Bong-sang, a late Joseon military commander and fifth-generation descendant of Admiral Yi Sun-sin. The helmet’s form, metal fittings, and decorative features, including traditional dragon and phoenix motifs, were referenced to recreate the dignified appearance of armor associated with a marshal-level commander of the late Joseon period.
