Description

⚠️THIS IS THE PRUSSIAN BASE. TO USE ANOTHER STATE, PLEASE NAVIGATE TO THE CORRECT BASE. THIS DESIGN ALSO REQUIRES A PLATE OR A COVER TO BE PLACED ON TOP. "In Stahlgewittern" Introduced on 28 June 1915, the M1915 Pickelhaube replaced the bright brass and German silver fittings of earlier Imperial German helmets with chemically oxidised grey steel, conserving strategic metals while reducing battlefield visibility. The pattern also introduced a removable spike and reflected wartime economies in construction and materials. This example represents the Prussian infantry pattern, shown with the chinstrap in the up position.
