Commandant’s Service acted as the de facto army police, handling garrison discipline, guard duties, and order within military installations; recognised by their "K" patch. On the other hand. Traffic Regulators were part of the Rear Services; these personnel controlled military highway traffic and vehicle movement. They were recognised by their white helmets with red stripes and armbands.
