𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐎𝐘𝐀𝐋 𝐆𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐀𝐍 𝐆𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐃 "King's companions" The Royal Galatian Guard formed the elite body within the armyof the Basilikoi. These men are in their prime and drawn from the Galatia, and they have been fitted with fine cuirass, a sword, and javelins. The Royal Galatian Guard are the infantry guard of the king. To be eligible for admission into the Royal Galatian Guard, you must gain entry into the heavy skirmishers. The Basileus personally selects his guard under the advisement of the Vizier.
