𝐒𝐔𝐄𝐁𝐈𝐀𝐍 𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐋𝐘 𝐄𝐍𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐒 The Suebian Assembly, or the Popular Assembly, was a political entity that served legal, military, and political functions. It was made up of delegates from many of the differentiating tribes and was headed by the King, and the Judge. Suebi was headed by a Kingship, which was often hereditary but required the King to gain the loyalty of all the differentiating tribes in order to be elected. This led to a common practise of Diarchy (Two Kings) as all sons of the King had a right to claim the throne. This rugged system was the only documented government institution of the Germanic tribes, and the Suebi. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Entry into the government is either through military service or a application process headed by the King.
