Description
7th TatMa (၇၇ ခြေလျင်တပ်), is recognized as one of the Tatmadaw’s most active and dependable mobile formations, frequently deployed across Yangon, Bago, Kayin, and central Myanmar. Built around fast-moving Light Infantry Battalions, the division is noted for its strong coordination, rapid operational tempo, and long record of field experience. Its consistent ability to respond quickly, hold difficult terrain, and support major operations has made the 77th widely regarded as a reliable and highly capable light infantry force within the Tatmadaw.
