Description
The Army of Totaria. Standing army of the Kingdom that is found in all Totarian provinces regardless of house. The army of armies (if more than 1 is raised) is called the Din (originally called the Dil) which consists of 10,000 fighting men and 1000 camp followers who help them. Each Din is led by a Totari Suprem whose second-in-command is the Totari Lesem. Both are assisted by 5 senior officers called Totari Atopae or an individual Totari Atopuh. Each Din is divided into 4 branches of 2500 fighting men called a Haflegis. Each Haflegis consists of 5 units of 500 men each commanded by an officer called a Coten (the word itself coming from an ancient Totari word for a fighter-leader). Each 500 man unit is then divided into 5 groups of 100 men led by a Bravus (the ancient Totari word for braves). The second-in-command to a Bravus is a Torati Elder who is the oldest of any NCOs present.
