Description
Italian Light Infantry 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘 Light infantry - fighting independent, fast moving, and the counterparts to line infantry, these men typically fight in open order. Unrestricted by line formations, they are experts at skirmishing and ranged combat, but lack in melee and against cavalry. Formed in 1806, the Royal Battalion of Istria recruited from former Austrian territory annexed to the Kingdom of Italy after the Battle of Austerlitz. The battalion was used mostly for coastal defense against English raiders. 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 5A79hxN73b
