𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 📖 The Imperial Department of Research was an organization within the Galactic Empire responsible for the research and development of military technology such as equipment, small arms, facility components, and armed starships. The department manufactured the armors used by Imperial stormtroopers, as well as the flight helmets worn by the TIE fighter pilots, and produced the Empire's superweapons, such as the Death Star, Eye of Palpatine, World Devastators, and many other projects.
