Description
Established XVI/XII/MMXXI. The Duchy of Bavaria is one of the most prominent and well-known states within the Holy Roman Empire. The oldest known records of the Duchy go back to DLI A.D when it was ruled by the Agilolfings, a noble family within the Frankish Empire. Bavaria would first act as a Stem Duchy, then, eventually, once the Holy Roman Empire was established, the Duchy of Bavaria would become a major state, even having a few noblemen rule as Emperor and becoming a Kingdom in the later years of the Empire.
