It's strange how a song can bring back everything. The late nights, the excitement of seeing your name pop up on my screen, the dreams we had, and the love I carried for you. For almost a year, I listened to these songs while missing you, wondering where you were and if you were okay. Some days I thought I was healing, and other days a single lyric would bring me right back to you. But when I hear these songs now, they don't just remind me of you. They remind me of the year I spent missing you, loving you, and learning how to keep living without you. The music still reminds me of you, but it also reminds me that even through all the tears, I kept going.
