Description
𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐆𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐃 近衛師団 — Imperial House Formed during the early Meiji period, the Imperial Guard was created as an elite unit tasked with protecting the Emperor and the Imperial Household. Separate from the regular army, it held a distinct status within the military, combining ceremonial presence with active participation in key campaigns. The Guard saw service in the Russo-Japanese War, China, and across the Pacific, often deployed where loyalty and discipline were paramount. Bound by centuries of tradition and imperial doctrine, its members were expected to defend the Chrysanthemum Throne without hesitation. Their loyalty was total, their duty clear, and their sacrifice unquestioned.
