𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐘 𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐀𝐍 𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐍 𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 (𝐜. 𝟏𝟕𝟒𝟎-𝟏𝟕𝟕𝟎) By the time of the War of the Austrian Succession, the Holy Roman Empire was but a shadow of its former self. Although one might assume the Emperor directly ruled over the Empire's vast domains, in truth, the position lacked any form of central authority. The Empire was mostly ran through a series of councils and conventions held by the Reichstag. In the first two Silesian wars, no formal Imperial response was issued; however, during the Seven Years' War, Franz I, Holy Roman Emperor, called for an Imperial intervention against Prussia's illegal war, leading to a Reichskrieg that finally rallied the Empire to Austria's side. ✿ 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 We incorporate the aspects of the Imperial Diet and its legislative powers. Any member wishing to hold a title within the Empire will be conferred legal rights to attend the Diet and/or Reichskammergericht.
