United States Navy Master At Arms "Devotion to duty, and personal integrity above all" The Master-at-Arms (MA) rating is responsible for law enforcement and force protection in the United States Navy ORGANIZATION: Shore Squadron: Conducts garrison security of USM installation, enforcing laws and punishing offenders. Field Squadron: Utilized for expeditionary policing operations, working with enemy prisoners of war, establishing field prisons, and working with intelligence organizations to extract valuable information from the adversary in austere environments. Protection Squadron: Tasked with the protection of designated VIP's. Trained and capable in hostage rescue situations, security, and crowd control. NCIS: Houses the Criminal Investigations Division, which conducts internal investigations and audits of the USMG.
