Description

𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐒𝐘𝐍𝐎𝐏𝐒𝐄: A line infantry regiment of the Kingdom of Bavaria, the 5th Infantry Regiment "Preysing" was raised in Bavaria in 1722. The 5th participated in various campaigns along with the rest of the army, including the Tyrol Rebellions and eventually, the march into Russia. The 5th would lose their standards in the Russian forest and return to engage at the Battle of Leipzig, marking the end of a French-aligned Bavaria.
