Description
[USMC] UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS [INFORMATION] The UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS' Force Protection Detachment is an organized team of highly trained and skilled intelligence and military operators who are tasked (upon the request of SECNAV/USECNAV) to protect high ranking military leaders and valuable military assets within the USMC. Force Protection Detachment is used a force multiplier for other U.S. Security Interests. Force Protection Detachment is also tasked with; [TASKS] Counterintelligence matters; threat surveys; threat briefings; DoD investigative lead reporting; threat reporting; and conducting or assisting in the production of vulnerability assessments of ports, airfields, hotels and routes used by in-transit forces. Force Protection Detachment consists of 20 of the most highly trained and skilled USMC Operators, mainly consisting of well-trained selected Counterintelligence and Reconnaissance Units and Naval Criminal Investigative Service Special Agents.
