Description
The Unity Party, founded in Chengdu, started as a humble club of like-minded individuals tired of Qing rule. Despite their grass-roots beginning, they quickly gained popularity and became one of the major contending parties during the dawn of the ROC. Given their founding members military connections, the party became especially popular in the upper ranks of the military and in the rural western provinces where it originated. They advocate for strongly for Militarism, specifically jingoism, in which expansion of the nation and assimilation of former tributary states is the priority of foreign policy. Through Conservatism and Militarism, the Unity Party hopes to create a stronger, united China, largely under the authority of the military. --WORK IN PROGRESS--
