The company filled out the need for reliable services, operating through the use of modern steamships designed to be safe, orderly and timely in service. Soon the Company was known as an efficient operator and provided good, quality accommodation to its clients, becoming a very popular means of transportation for emigrants, merchantmen, and high-profile tourists.
