中華民國陸軍自2026年1月起，將原有的4個裝甲旅與3個機步旅統一更銜為「聯合兵種旅」（聯兵旅），旨在因應現代戰場需求，強化部隊的獨立作戰能力與聯合作戰效能。這種編制將傳統的步兵、裝甲、砲兵、防空、反裝甲等多兵種組成「聯兵營」，實現「一個營就能出去戰鬥」的靈活作戰模式。Starting in January 2026, the Republic of China Army will unify its existing four armored brigades and three mechanized infantry brigades into "Combined Arms Brigades" (COMBBs). This aims to meet the demands of modern battlefields and enhance the independent combat capabilities and joint operational effectiveness of its troops. This organization will combine traditional infantry, armored, artillery, air defense, and anti-armor branches into "combined battalions," achieving a flexible combat model where "a single battalion can go out to fight."
