Description
The Galactic Navy was an integral part of the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars in the Star Wars universe. Operating within the vastness of space, their primary role was to engage in interstellar battles and maintain control over key strategic locations. They took orders from the Office of the Supreme Chancellor and high-ranking military officials within the Republic. The Galactic Navy played a vital role in defending Republic territories, conducting space-based operations, and securing hyperspace routes. Their fleet of starships and capital vessels were deployed to engage enemy forces, protect Republic territories, and provide support to ground forces during planetary assaults. Additionally, they facilitated transportation and logistics, ensuring the smooth movement of troops, supplies, and reinforcements across the galaxy. The Galactic Navy's expertise in space combat and strategic operations made them a formidable force in the war effort.
