Description
The Republic Starfighter Corps was an integral part of the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars in the Star Wars universe. As an aerial combat division, they took orders from the High Jedi Generals and the Republic High Command. Their primary mission was to provide air support and engage in space battles against Separatist forces. Operating a wide range of starfighters, including Jedi Starfighters and ARC-170s, the Republic Starfighter Corps conducted escort missions, reconnaissance, and targeted strikes on enemy positions. They played a crucial role in defending Republic capital ships, escorting important personnel, and disabling enemy vessels. With skilled pilots and advanced technology, the Republic Starfighter Corps demonstrated exceptional combat abilities and agility in space. Their efforts greatly contributed to the overall war effort and were key to maintaining air superiority for the Republic throughout the Clone Wars.
