38th Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Squadron ⚕️🪂 "𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙒𝙚 𝘿𝙤, 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙊𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙈𝙖𝙮 𝙇𝙞𝙫𝙚" ═───────────═ The 38th Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Squadron (38th ARRS) was a unit of the United States Air Force that played a significant role in combat search and rescue (CSAR) operations during the Vietnam War. The primary mission of the 38th ARRS was to conduct combat search and rescue operations to recover downed aircrew and other personnel in distress in hostile territory. The squadron operated a variety of helicopters suitable for search and rescue missions. This included the HH-3E Jolly Green Giant, HH-53 Super Jolly Green Giant. The 38th ARRS conducted numerous rescue missions throughout the Vietnam War, often in highly dangerous and hostile environments. They would brave enemy fire and adverse weather condition to extract downed aircrew and injured personnel. ═───────────═ Requirement: Pass the entry selection process for the unit.
