Description
𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐲 The New Model Army was formed in 1645 during the English Civil War, raised by Parliament against the tyrannical King. Through the centuries it withstood the embers of war as Europe’s first professional army since the Roman era, an attribute that set it apart from any other army making it “First to fight, second to none.” In the 20th century, the New Model Army was forced to enact conscription during the terrible Great War, and following the horrendous defeat has been reduced to a small professional army once again. The force is engrained into the culture of the authoritarian state and its puritanical beliefs, fiercely adhering to a professional standard.
