Description
The Absaroka Department of Natural Resources was established in February of 1961, following the enactment of the Conservation Act, as a state-level conservation, environmental, and law enforcement agency of the State of Absaroka. Today, the Absaroka Department of Natural Resources continues to serve as a state-level conservation, environmental, and law enforcement agency of the State of Absaroka, responsible for maintaining, preserving, and conserving state parks, wildlife refuges, and recreational areas, as well as enforcing conservation and recreational laws and forestry fire protection.
