Antigonida #33938711
Description
𝘼𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙜𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙙𝙖 "𝑭𝒐𝒐𝒕 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔" The Antigonida, or "Footmen," are the stalwart center of the Macedonian phalanx and the backbone of the army. These infantrymen carry on their fathers’ legacies from one generation to the next, with fathers bestowing their helmets and shields to their sons as marks of tremendous honor. Through this ritual, a father’s exploits and renown are passed down, allowing his son to take up the mantle of courage and duty. The Antigonida represent the enduring heart of the Macedonian military.
