--海上自衛隊（Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force:JMSDF）-- 海上幕僚長:yakiniku_ch 海上自衛隊は、日本の行政機関のひとつ。自衛隊のうちの海上部門にあたる防衛省の特別の機関の総称である。 日本の領海や排他的経済水域（接続水域を含む）などにおいて平素から警戒監視、情報収集、各種訓練を行い、有事において海上交通の安全確保（シーレーン防衛）や周辺海域の防衛に対応する。また、ソマリア沖で、日本商船（外国船も可能）の護衛任務も行っている。 Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force is one of the administrative agencies of Japan. The Maritime Self-Defense Forces (MSDF) is the generic name for the special agency of the Ministry of Defense that is the maritime component of the Self-Defense Forces. The Maritime Self-Defense Forces (MSDF) conducts regular surveillance, intelligence gathering, and various training in Japan's territorial waters and exclusive economic zones (including adjacent waters), and responds to emergencies by ensuring the safety of maritime traffic (sea lane defense) and defending the surrounding sea areas. It also escorts Japanese merchant vessels (and foreign vessels as well) off the coast of Somalia.
