Description

Yūrei Vanguard: Guardians of the Veil In ancient times, when the boundary between the living and the spirit world was fragile, the Yūrei Vanguard was formed by a clan chosen by the kami (gods) to protect the balance between life and death. As malevolent spirits, known as onryō, began to wreak havoc on the mortal world, the kami sought out a group of warriors who were not only skilled in combat but also deeply connected to the spiritual realm. The Yūrei Vanguard was tested by the kami and bestowed with the essence of the yūrei, granting them the ability to communicate with spirits, harness their power, and even summon the souls of fallen comrades in battle. With these abilities, the Vanguard became the first line of defense against supernatural threats, purifying haunted lands and ensuring that spirits could pass peacefully into the afterlife.
