Description
Officially a subdivision of the Grand Republic Navy (GRN), the New Waterloo Marine Corps (NWMC) is the amphibious assault service branch of the New Waterloo Armed Forces (NWAF), the combined military forces of the Grand Republic of New Waterloo (GRNW). The NWMC is a quick reaction force under the direct command of the President, capable of deploying at a moment's notice anywhere in the Okami Sea or the Mainland as a means of providing for the state's national security. The NWMC has the most stringent standards out of all the military branches and has the most rigorous training out of the entire Armed Forces. To be a New Waterloo Marine is an honor only bestowed upon the greatest warriors of New Waterloo. The New Waterloo Marine Corps is commanded by the President, who in turn appoints a Secretary of Defense (SECDEF) to oversee the standards and battle readiness of the Marine Corps in civil disobedience or foreign threats to the Republic.
