Description
Koninkrijk Holland was a Dutch state that existed from 1806 to 1810 in what is now the Netherlands. It was established during the Napoleonic Wars as a client kingdom of the French Empire and was ruled by Louis Bonaparte, brother of Napoleon. The kingdom replaced the Batavian Republic and marked a brief period of centralized monarchy before being annexed directly into the French Empire.
