[> THE GREAT ARMY OF RESTION <] ``Through the mountains, Through the gates, Through the Enemy.`` - Theogryms Balleselley, first Westerian - Elven War Founded roughly fifty years prior to the Westerian-Elven wars, the Restion Army became renowned for its capability to defend its territory against raiders. Restion became renowned for its Crossbowmen and Shieldbearers during the Westerian era. These Crossbowmen, and later Musketmen became known as the most capable human ranged warriors above the River Stio. The Restion Army held the esteemed position of defenders of the Golden Gate, separating the Nothern Territories from the Southern ones. The Restion troops tend to be equipped with a red uniform, with its officers wearing an embroidered variant. The average Restion Regiment consisted of predominantly Crossbowmen, with a mix of Infantry and Cavalry for support, however in later dates groups consisting primarily of Musketeers and Infantry have come into use.
