Description
The Arab Kingdom of Ḥalmon (مملكة حلمون العربية) is a nation on the island of Agenor and the largest of its two major ethnic groups. The Ḥalmonites historically enjoyed significant privileges due to their control of Port Agenor, the island’s main trade hub. They were vassals alongside the Ithmirians under the Ottomans as the Kingdom of Ḥalmon and Ithmiria and later under British rule as the Crown Colony of Agenor. The Ḥalmonites have a long history of both conflict and alliance with the Ithmirians, eventually adopting a culture similar to that of the Levant. Following the Agenor Civil War of 46' , Ḥalmon became a full member of the United Nations. The nation receives funding from NATO members, as well as Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, South Korea, and Japan. However, it remains at odds with Israel, having supported the Six-Day War. Despite this, the United States has worked to maintain an uneasy peace between the two nations. Since 1972, the U.S. has invested heavily in the Island.
