𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: 5 April 2019 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: 𝐄𝐫𝐚: 1914 - 1918 𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲: The East Lancashire Regiment is a line infantry regiment of the British Army founded in 1881. The Regiment was the product of various Regiments being merged under Army reforms over time. After the outbreak of war in 1914, the East Lancashire Regiment was assigned to the Egyptian Expeditionary Force and saw service in various battlefields of the Middle East, most famously at Gallipoli.
