Parliament of Jordan Established under the 2026 Constitution of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Parliament of Jordan (مجلس الأمة) is the legislative authority of the Kingdom and represents the voice of the Jordanian people. Operating under a constitutional monarchy system, the Parliament consists of two chambers: the Senate (Majlis Al-Aayan) and the House of Representatives (Majlis Al-Nuwaab). The Parliament is responsible for drafting and reviewing legislation, overseeing government actions, approving national policies, and ensuring the principles of justice, accountability, and constitutional governance are upheld. Through cooperation between its two chambers and the Hashemite leadership, the Parliament contributes to the stability, development, and prosperity of the Kingdom.
