Hazardous Environment Combat Unit [HL:W] Opposing Force ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The HECU is a specialized unit of the United States Marine Corps that is deployed to extremely hazardous combat zones. Marines of the HECU are specially trained to deal with a variety of combat situations, particularly involving hazardous environments and unconventional enemies. HECU was deployed to stop the resonance cascade provoked in Black Mesa in an attempt to silence all witnesses and stop the invasion, due to the HECU not being able to control it. They we're reassigned to split off in multiple sectors through out the country and internationally in an huge attempt to push the XEN Invasion. Due to the failure and in the result of the Combine Invasion and US Army being heavily overwhelmed and low on supplies to even try to hold off the Xen Invasion and Combine at same time. Resulting in Humanity and earth surrendering to an empire in a desperate attempt of survival.
