🚨 🚨 🚨 UNDER CONSTRUCTION 🚨 🚨 🚨 The Chaldean Catholic Church is an Eastern Catholic Church with ancient roots in Mesopotamia, especially in modern-day Iraq. It broke away from the Church of the East in the 16th century and entered into full communion with Rome, fully recognizing the authority of the Pope, while preserving its own traditions, liturgy, and cultural identity. The Church follows the East Syriac Rite and uses Aramaic, an ancient language closely related to the one spoken by Jesus Christ. Today, the Chaldean Catholic Church is based in Baghdad, led by its Patriarch, and continues to serve communities both in the Middle East and across the global diaspora. Despite challenges and widespread migration, it remains a strong symbol of Christian heritage in the region.
