🇺🇸 1st Infantry Division ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ The 1st Infantry Division, also known as the “Big Red One,” is a division of the United States Army. It was first established in 1917 and is one of the oldest and most well-known divisions in the U.S. Army. The division served in multiple major conflicts throughout the 20th century, including World War I, World War II, and the Vietnam War. During the Vietnam War, the 1st Infantry Division was deployed to South Vietnam where it conducted combat operations against communist forces.
