THE TWELFTH THUNDERBOLT LEGION LOYAL TO THE EMPEROR AND PEOPLE OF ROME The Twelfth Legion, known in legend and legacy as the Thunderbolt Legion, was forged in the fires of the late Roman Republic, raised under the command of Julius Caesar during his Gallic campaigns. From the storm-swept hills of Gaul to the sun-scorched deserts of Egypt, the Twelfth has struck with the fury of Jupiter himself—swift, unrelenting, and decisive. It was in the Eastern campaigns, during a brilliant charge that shattered the Parthian lines, that the legion earned the moniker "Fulminata"—the Thunderbolt. That name became a rallying cry across the Empire, a symbol of divine wrath and unbreakable discipline. Time and again, the Twelfth has been summoned to the Empire’s most desperate fronts. Time and again, they have returned victorious. Their banners bear the scars of centuries, yet they remain—unyielding, eternal, and electrified with the legacy of conquest.
