Description
/|| Blues & Royals ||\ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬♔▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The Blues and Royals are one of the two regiments of the Household Cavalry, combining centuries of history, ceremonial prestige, and front-line capability. Formed in 1969 from the Royal Horse Guards (The Blues) and the Royal Dragoons (The Royals), they are the second-most senior regiment in the British Army. Their ceremonial uniform features navy blue tunics, red plumed helmets, and polished cuirasses. They take part in royal escorts, state occasions, and mounted guard duties at Horse Guards Parade. On operations, they serve in the Household Cavalry Regiment as expert armoured reconnaissance soldiers, equipped for modern warfare. The Blues and Royals uphold a proud legacy of royal service, discipline, and military excellence. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬♔▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
