Partidul Național Țărănesc a fost un partid politic format la 10 octombrie 1926, prin fuziunea Partidul Național Român (prezidat de Iuliu Maniu) cu Partidul Țărănesc din Vechiul Regat (prezidat de Ion Mihalache). Partidul s-a afirmat în special în perioada interbelică ca alternativă de guvernământ la Partidului Național Liberal și ca o forță care a militat pentru menținerea regimului democratic-constituțional. Partidul Național Țărănesc a fost unul din cele may m2ri partide din perioada interbelică alături de Partidul Național Liberal si Partidul Totul pentru Țară. ===================================================================================== National Peasants' Party was a political party that was formed on 10 of October 1926, due the merging of Romanian National Party led by Iuliu Maniu with the Peasants' Party led by Ion Mihalache. The National Peasants' Party was one of the biggest political parties in Interwar Romania.
