Description
In May 18()9 three battalions held their ground against the advancing French Army for days. Aron Bozic, the General of the Slovenian garison near Radovljica had to give himself and his three battalions up to the French Army. He was to be executed for leading several sabotage missions on the French camp. In his last moments he has shown great courage and scorn to the enemy. Marmont, the commander of the French force was taken aback by that. The execution was never done. Instead, Aron and his three battalions served the French and were allowed to go across the Styrian lands and recruit soldiers for the upcoming French assassult on the Russian land. They soon took the whole of Styria away from the Austrian Empire and the French created a puppet kingdom named Kraljevina Stajerska, with Aron as it's monarch. Since then, Styrians fought for the Emperor Napoleon and King of Styria to certain victory or death.
