Description
For over a thousand years, the Galactic Republic stood firm as a democratic union that governed the galaxy. The Republic was governed by the Galactic Senate, consisting of elected officials from each system and world, and Jedi Knights served as peacekeepers. With the secession of thousands of star-systems from the Galactic Republic, a new threat to the Republic arises. The separatists, fueled by the distant, dispassionate, and unworthy of membership Republic, ultimately marshaled disgruntled systems into new galactic governments. Forced by the sudden change of power, the Senate grants emergency powers to the chancellor - which grants him the power to produce an army of clones to combat the separatist threat to the Republic and its democracy.
