The Mountaineer regiment is a regiment comprised of mostly light infantry however also rifle companies. While only officially founded in 1768 the mountaineers has a history which goes further back to the 1600s where small groups of alpine hunters would gather and police the border to prevent raids on their farms. However, since Napoleons invasion of Europe the rather peaceful Alpine peaks and valleys have been disturbed by the French storm looming over Europe causing the regiment to be called up once again. ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ 8th Mountaineers 8th Rifles ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ /xsXdTUzSdY
