New Orleans is rotting, drowning in a tide of crude American greed, muddy streets, & lawless chaos. In this decaying city, our ancient Creole lineages are the only things left standing. The Fleur-de-Lis Sisterhood is an elite, committee of debutantes determined to keep the flickering flame of European elegance from being snuffed out entirely. To secure our own power in a world collapsing into vulgarity, we have founded The MacCarthy Reformatory. To the women fleeing the ruins of France & Spain, we are a golden beacon of hope in a dark, hostile new world. Through our network of overseas talent coaches, we rescue girls of raw brilliance & ruined nobility, plucking them from poverty & bringing them across the Atlantic. We do not leave them to perish in the filthy New Orleans slums; we take them directly under our family wings. We adopt them as our own, lending our finest silks, teaching them flawless high society etiquette & presenting them to the world as our cherished foster sisters.
