Description
𝐈𝐋-𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐉𝐔𝐍 𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐏𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐉𝐀𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐏𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐀𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐎𝐍 Tripoli, today the capital city of Libya, was ruled by the Knights Hospitaller for a short period of time. During the Hospitaller Crusade, a small contingent of Knights retook the mostly undefended city in the opening days of the armed pilgrimage. The declaration of the Outremer allowed Tripoli to be retaken & the local population was conscripted to form the first legion of the Order serving as its fearsome horsemen, they rival the Numidian cavalry of old!
