Anhalt-Bernburg Jäger Infanterie #9658741
Description
𝘼𝙉𝙃𝘼𝙇𝙏-𝘽𝙀𝙍𝙉𝘽𝙐𝙍𝙂 𝙄𝙉𝙁𝘼𝙉𝙏𝙀𝙍𝙄𝙀 The Anhalt-Bernburg Jagers were raised in 1813 as a volunteer unit, composed of men from Anhalt and other German states who wished to fight against France. Consisting of four companies- two regular and two reserve- the battalion sized unit was later reduced to just a two company unit of regular troops after logistical shortages meant many volunteers were unable to be uniformed. Despite this reduction in size, the Anhalt-Bernburg Jagers would go on to take an active role in the 1815 campaign. The Anhalt-Bernburg Jagers are a highly mobile flanker force. Quick moving skirmishers are the eyes and ears of the army whilst highly accurate sharpshooters pick off targets with ease, thanks to their finely crafted rifles. 𝙀𝙉𝙇𝙄𝙎𝙏𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙏 This regiment is a selective unit. A probationary period is required to advance into a proper company.
