The Balleselley Household became a key part of the Vance Empire about 200 Years prior to the 2nd Elven War, with Theogryms Balleselley negotiating an alliance between the two families. They were granted control of a Duchy, in particular, that of Restion, located above the River Stio, a key defensive position. Solon ruled Restion during the fall of the Vance Empire, he led a short term of fifteen years until his retirement from the role. Theodore Balleselley commanded Restion during the Restionese Golden Era and the Great Human-Elven wars, making the house a key member in Hreinngar politics. The most recent Duke of Restion is Richard, a strategical prodigy who intends to make Restion into the most prosperous Duchy in Hreinngar. The Balleselley history is one shrouded by war and a strong military culture.
