Welcome to the 1st Aviation Regiment! 🚁 Our mission is to provide aviation support to the Australian Army, supporting ground forces in combat, peacekeeping, and humanitarian operations. 🔍 Our highly trained personnel operate and maintain a range of rotary-wing aircraft, Including jets and helicopters. 👨✈️ As an aviation regiment, we are responsible for providing air transport, reconnaissance, and close air support to ground troops, as well as conducting search and rescue operations and assisting in disaster relief efforts. 🌏 We operate both domestically and overseas, providing vital aviation support to the Australian Defence Force in a variety of environments. 🔒 Tryout Joining 1AVN requires dedication, knowledge and a clear understanding on how to pilot an aircraft.
