The 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗣𝗣𝗦) is the federal security organization responsible for safeguarding Parliament, its members, staff, and parliamentary precincts. The Service ensures the continuous protection of Canada’s democratic institutions and physical infrastructure. PPS delivers integrated security operations across the Parliamentary Precinct, coordinating threat response, access control, and emergency preparedness in collaboration with federal and local partners. Established under the Parliament of Canada Act, PPS executes its mandate through: • Physical and operational security • Access control and perimeter management • Threat response coordination • Parliamentary protective operations
